Walt got the chance to open a show for Tommy Cash on November 11 2006. Walt had a great time and has much respect for Mr. Cash.

On September 9 2006, Walt got the chance to meet Stella Parton. Stella Parton is the sister of Dolly Parton.

On July 2nd 2006, Walt was inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame. Walt is receiving his plaque from Bill Aukermann in the picture on the left. It was a very proud day for Country Music Fans in Michigan. At the ceremony Walt performed three of his favorite songs and signed autographs for his fans.

On August 6th 2006, Walt put on a performance to remember at the Bay City Pig Gig. Walt opened for Chris Cagle and had hundreds of fans on their feet the whole time. This was one show you didn't want to miss.
